Data-Import | Data-Export
For the data import of products, whether initial or as an update, the ComBinder PIM provides interfaces for various data sources (BMEcat, CSV). The external data structures are translated into the BMEcat format and integrated into the PIM module of ComBinder.
The ComBinder PIM can thus be used as a BMEcat converter.
Data Import | Sources
BMEcat data import
The ComBinder PIM is based on the BMEcat data model of the BME in the 2005 version. All data types and structures are available. Proprietary extensions can be added at any time. BMEcat catalogues are checked during import and deviations are handled.
The classification catalogs ETIM and eCl@ss complement the BMEcat data model with standardized attributes and support the efficient merging of multiple data sources as well as the structuring into individual spades of the product range.
XLS, XLSX and CSV data import
Data transfer by means of a structured table is the best way to convert content from a proprietary system into the ComBinder PIM and thus into the BMEcat format (BMEcat Converter). The import process is accompanied by a clear dialog.
Webshop-Import
For different use cases (Web2Print, data conversion to BMEcat, …) product data can also be imported from the various webshop systems (Shopware, Magento, Onix). The transfer from the systems takes place via data export or API access (e.g. Shopware).
SQL Import
The coupling to an external product database represents a special use case, since data exports or REST (similar) interfaces are usually available. Nevertheless, ComBinder offers the coupling to a database (MySQL, MariaDB). However, this requires a proprietary extension of ComBinder.
